The MacArthur Foundation through the Access project supported the Nigerian Government in its response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Accelerating Equitable Access ,Acceptance and Uptake of COVID-19  Vaccines (ACCESS) is  implemented by Pathfinder International and its implementing partners, Nigerian Interfaith Action Association (NIFAA), the Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN), Vaccine Network for Disease Control (VNDC) and Saphital.  The ACCESS project is an intervention with a multi-pronged approach at the community and facility levels to curb COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy and improve equitable access to quality vaccines services. It is important to engage faith leaders and opinion molders to promote immunization as they are the trusted figures and voices in our community.
